Here's Dreaming

Today, I woke up to a sun filled bedroom and it made me think of my future. Oh, the possibilities are endless of my life ahead, but in the meantime, dreaming up those ideas have been the most fun.
I keep a scrapbook of things that inspire me, or basically anything that puts a smile on my face. Below are the images that make me think of what my living situation will be......well, here's to dreaming!

Hearts Desire

The lovely Mara from M Love M fashioned out Hearts desire blouse, and I must say that I am in Love with these pics. The blush tone of the blouse mixes well with the tomato red skirt. Great pairing!

Music Video Tuesday

Ok, so this isn't a lure to get you to watch this movie "Into the Wild" or anything (although its really great), but an inspiration moment.
It may be only me but have you have ever felt like grabbing a few bucks a bag of necessities, and just taking off into unknown? I have these spurts every full moon or so, and this video is clips of the full movie that portrays A man who did just this and documented this journey. A true story worth watching, and if this is not something you are into, the soundtrack which is strictly Eddie Vedder is at least worth the listen.
Well, Enjoy!

Our new leather wrist- let collection. Vintage parts adhered to aged leather in two adjustable lengths. Each is one of a kind. Which one is your favorite.
Oh, and did you notice what a naughty girl Gretta was? She just cant resist a good roll in some dirt while a photoshoot is taking place:)

Autumn Fascinator Love

If you know me at all, you know that I am NOT photogenic in the least, so this photo shoot was very very hard to do. I usually will opt for a black and white, and no surprise....that's what I choose to do in this case.
Anywho, this vintage piece is something I am loving right not. The Autumn Vintage Fascinator has been added onto the shop, so if interested, you can check out the details here.

This is something I have been trying.... taking photos of myself in the mirror. Is that weird?

Something Funny:)

I always love finding new fashion blogs to scan, but this really caught my eye. I can completely relate to this photo with every family pic I have ever taken! Oh, the joy of being human:)

Music Video Tuesday

This weeks video is to celebrate the Icelandic princess and her unconventional melodic masterpieces. Bjork never ceases to amaze and this video sums up her style perfectly. Every time I hear this tune, I feel like "Dancing in the Rain"! Enjoy

Creature Comfort

A favorite Esty shop of mine is the very very talented Celapiu Tselahpyoo Design. As a sucker for anything creature related, these scarves have been on my wish list for a while now. Since I am going to London and Paris this winter (yes, I said Paris....woo hoo), I really need to rock out in one of her pieces. The biggest problem is which to choose. Let me know your favorites!

A Day in the Hay

How cute are my niece and nephew? It was a glorious day looking through the rows of pumpkins, smelling the sweetness of mums and feeding the feisty chickens. Nothing screams fall like a afternoon at a pumpkin farm. Now where's the pie? Yum. I do live fall:)

Music Video Tuesday

This video goes out to all of my friends who do not have their own wash machine and have spent two many nights washing dedicates next to strangers. Lisa Mitchell's- Coin Laundry video is super adorable with her addictive voice. If only every laundry matt had retro teal washers and funky checkered floors! Enjoy:)

Music Video Tuesday

Florence & The Machine is obviously a name that everyone knows by now, but their new song"What the water gave me" is by far their best masterpiece to date....in my opinion:)

Is it the dance moves, or her vintage wardrobe that I desire? Simply, this video is a work of art on it 's own. Enjoy!

How To: Make a Everlasting Curtain Rod

My sweet girl Marley (our pet) likes to lay underneath the window sill and she sometimes tugs on the curtain while getting into her comfort mode. After too many tugs, the curtain rod eventually snapped. I needed a good and sturdy solution FAST.

Shopping for a curtain rod is as exciting as making toast, so I decided to try something new. I found a economical and industrial style at the local hardware store and just love it. If you also need a sturdy curtain rod, here's how to make one!

Everlasting Curtain Rod:
Supplies you may need- Conduit Piping (They usually come in 10' lengths), Pipe cutters (most hardware stores will cut the conduit for you), Screws, Spray Paint (your color of choice), 3/4" Screw Plates, 3/4" Corners (found in the electrical section), 3/4"x 1" Threaded Extentions.
Tools you may need: Screwdriver, Hammer, Screw gun, Pencil, Tape measure, Level

Directions: attatch all pieces shown in the diagram, spray paint entire rod with your color of choice, insert curtain panels, screw into wall, and enjoy!

Coon Visit

Raccoon
This past week has been a very interesting one filled with loss of sleep! We have had one of natures most curious critters grace our basement (via the cat door) in the late hours of night. Are you wondering what creature would do this? Well, the adorable, but very pesky raccoon.
So when I found Etsy shop "The Art of Felting" , I was wide eyed by the small animal masterpieces. I fell in love with the amount of detail maker Daria puts into each piece. Check out my favorites and let us know which is your favorite!
