For as long as I could remember the Easter holiday the thoughts of Cadberry Eggs, fistfuls of Jelly Beans, and pastel colored clothing came to mind. Now as an adult, the thought of head to toe pastel seems far fetched or at least hard to pull off, but after a night of Etsy searches I have found my Easter must haves. I am going vintage this year! Oh, and I will be packing some sweets:)

Music Video Tuesday

This weeks video by the great Grizzly Bear was a bit of a stretch for me since I really do strive to find something new for you. Let's just say that this week (Tuesday to Tuesday) made it difficult to search for something great, so I pressed the "easy" button and dug into my favorite saved videos.

A great soft melodic sound and quirky video is at least an fun watch. Please enjoy and be sure to check the bands many other tunes for they are really awesome!

Lamp Re-Do

One weekend while scavenging through a antique shop I stumbled upon this lamp for only $7! 

A little bit of TLC and I have a new colorful night stand light. I used a vintage scarf that had a few holes in it for the shade but it will be fun to switch up the shade when I get bored:) 

A Friday Funny!

This week I was hit HARD with spring fever. The cleaning bug got me and on Wednesday evening I was washing windows and doing loads of laundry, by midnight I moved to vacuuming and dusting, and by 2am I was purging items into the "giveaway" pile. Rummaging thru a huge stack of hand me down albums from TJ's DJ uncle (from the 1980's) I couldn't help but bust out laughing as I realised how horrible some of the cover designs where.

Floral Crowns

Brides have done it, models have done it, but do I dare do it? Floral crowns that is.

Can you place a wreath upon the head without having by passers expecting a bird to just nest right on top? I love the look, but a part of my realistic side kicks in and says.......It's just not practical!

Thinking that a floral crown is just not something you can easily add into your daily wardrobe (basically giving up on the whole idea), I stumbled upon Free People's collection of head pieces and instantly fell in love with the color options and realistic sizing of each of thier crowns.

I actually just purchased the peach colored rosette crown and am so excited to wear it! Does it get any sweeter  then this?

Music Video Tuesday

This video "Crazy for You" makes me giggle a bit. As a animal lover/obsessive owner of two beautiful pups, using pets in a video is a no brainer. Right? 

I discovered this band last summer and while basking in the sun I would be rockin out to their Cali-esque sound. Love the band, love the song, and really love this video!  Enjoy:)

Phone Cover Picks

Ok, I am going to the dark side....I will officially become an all around Apple user starting tomorrow. As embarrassing as it was being the only twenty something still rocking a blackberry, then switching to a book- sized sliding keyboard phone that even the teenagers snickered at while I stood in line at Starbucks, but at last I will blend in to the millions who all rock the ever cool IPhone! 

What I am most excited about is the accessories and there are a whole bunch to choose from, so after hours of searching (admittedly a little too much time) for the right case I narrowed it down to these few. Which to choose? Any thoughts or opinions?
